What is "My Collectors Bay"?

"My Collectors Bay" is your virtual customer warehouse. You can use it to temporarily store your items with us to save on shipping costs. We store your items for up to 90 days from the order date (or goods received date for pre-ordered items).

How do I initiate the dispatch of my stock items from "My Collectors Bay"?

If you want to order the dispatch of your stock items, please order the shipping order as a normal item. This can be paid directly via PayPal, alternatively we will send you an invoice for manual payment. Once payment has been received, your items will be prepared for dispatch and sent on the next possible dispatch date.

Where can I see which items I have stored in "My Collectors Bay"?

Unfortunately, our system does not currently provide a simple overview of all items in your customer warehouse. However, you can generally use your order overview. All orders with items in the virtual customer warehouse should show the status "Waiting" and the shipping method "My Collectors Bay". Irrespective of this, we will inform you by e-mail when pre-ordered items are received in your customer warehouse and offer you dispatch as soon as a suitable package has been collected.

What happens after the 90-day storage period has expired?

There is no automatic dispatch after 90 days - we meet the deadline manually. However, we reserve the right to charge for shipping at the end of the 90-day period (counting from the order or goods receipt date of the oldest item in stock) and to dispatch all items in stock as soon as the shipping invoice has been paid.

Can I extend the storage period?

It is generally possible to extend the storage period. Simply contact us via e-mail to info@thecollectorsbay.de. However, we have to keep an eye on the parcel size of all your items in stock and our storage space. We therefore cannot promise that an extension is always possible.
